Peter Eastgate has proven he has what it takes to be a big gun with another huge win taking down the $5k event at the 2009 EPT PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.
Eastgate's status of world champion has been solidified after winning the $5k EPT PCA event. After leaving his hotel room today
Eastgate noticed that it was a bit too cloudy for his taste and decided
to play the $5,000 side event. With all luck and skill and a little bit of "cloud intake to push him there" he again took down a major tournament.
The event saw 273 entries. When
the final table was down to five, Eastgate already had a commanding chip lead. Florian Langmann, who placed second in EPT London in
2007, battled Eastgate heads up. Eastgate's cards were as large as his stack; after getting all the money
in pre-flop Eastgate showed pocket kings to Langmann's jacks. The board was no help for Langmann, with Eastgates Kings, taking him to the crown.
