Dave 'Devilfish" Ulliot added €33,000 to his bankroll swimming through 126 players in the €750 side event at the Irish Poker Championship.
It was the first win for Devilfish in the new year and he didn't have far to go from home to win it. It was domination all the way for the "fish" with a huge chip lead and room for some loose aggressive style poker.
Some of the finest players in Europe were on hand including Marc Goodwin who came in 10th place. Sunar had to settle for second place
while Ulliott added a win to his record before he takes off for
Melbourne to play in the Aussie Millions.
Devilfish was glad for a win so soon in the new year and hopes his form will continue when he visits Australia.
