Aussie Millions : Solomon Rides to H.O.R.S.E Victory
Jarred Solomon took a 5 hour ride to victory on the final table in the 2 day H.O.R.S.E event at the Aussie Millions. He saddles up with $30,380 first prize and a gold Aussie Millions championship ring.
The H.O.R.S.E event at the 2009 Aussie Millions poker Championship was a two day event where 8 players saddled up to try to ride to victory to the 1st place prize. They were all over ridden however with David Solomon taking the lead after entering the table in the med stacks. The final table chip stacks and players were as follows:

The final two to battle heads up were of course Solomon and the runner up Marcus. The riding continued for 2 long hours with chip stacks going up and down. The final hand was a giant pot in Omaha Hi-Lo which saw Marcus the victor.

1,459 runners bought in to $1,500 No Limit Hold Em Six-Handed Event but in the end it was American Ken Aldridge who claimed his first WSOP bracelet. Aldridge, known as Teach, won an epic heads up battle with Carmen Cavella to take the first prize of $428,259. Read more »
